Mark has been providing pet care to my community for over 9 years and with the help of his community has been fortunate to share his local small business knowledge with local art students. Over five years ago I found myself diligently successful in small business and wanted to share the knowledge the Laguna Beach community carried me through and taught me to create a small business. I came to this community in the early 2000’s attending LCAD art school in Laguna Beach and years later found myself a small business owner sharing my love for dogs. I am lucky and so happy to be able to share this knowledge with art student’s from my community by hiring them to work with me at Here Rover along with teaching them what it takes to run a business. It is challenging work to be able to schedule around the class times and project deadlines for my student employees but find it important to share the how to’s in building their own businesses. This work is very rewarding for me and I love the feeling of being able to support my local neighborhood by making sure your pets are happy and well cared for along and with paying it forward to grow confidence in local small business creation for our community.
